Little Adam King, six, who stole the nation’s hearts after appearing on The Late Late Toy Show, got some much needed rest and relaxation over Christmas after becoming a national treasure, writes Claire Scott.
Santa was very generous this year with plenty of Nerf guns and gadgets, as requested. In a memorable moment on the show, Adam, from Cork, held up his ‘virtual hug’ sign that he shows everyone he meets.
His virtual hug has become a beacon of positivity for many who feel low this year as a result of the pandemic. An Post also made the virtual hug into a postmark.
