Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. (born November 20, 1942) is an American politician who served as the 47th vice president of the United States from 2009 to 2017 and represented Delaware in the U.S. Senate from 1973 to 2009. A member of the Democratic Party, Biden is the presumptive Democratic nominee for president in the 2020 election. He unsuccessfully sought the Democratic presidential nomination in 1988 and in 2008.

news organization since July 2018. It’s taking place just a few days before President Joe Biden and Putin are scheduled to meet in Geneva.
Biden is in the midst of a European trip that includes the G7, E.U. and NATO summits.The interview will air Monday on NBC News’ Today, throughout the day on MSNBC, and on NBC Nightly News.
Sky News will also broadcast excerpts of the interview, starting at 7 AM ET on Monday. An extended version of the sit-down interview will run on NBC News Now.
