NBC Cancels 'World of Dance' Reality Competition Series After Four Seasons

NBC has decided not to bring back World of Dance. The dance competition series will end after four seasons on the air, Deadline reports.

The show featured elite dancers who competed in a range of dance styles to compete for a grand prize of $1 million. Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo and Derek Hough were judges on the show for all four seasons with Jenna Dewan and Scott Evans hosting two seasons each.

It was created in partnership with the World of Dance enterprise, which produces dance competitions and events in more than 25 countries.

The show premiered in May 2017. The last season of World of Dance aired in 2020 with just 12 episodes. Winners from the show include Les Twins, The Lab, Kings United and MDC 3.
