The song came shortly after Miley and Cody, 23, called it quits after just less than a year of dating, following her divorce from husband Liam Hemsworth and fling with Kaitlynn Carter.
In her new anthem, Miley defiantly sings: "I was born to run, I don't belong to anyone, oh no / I don't need to be loved by you." The raunchy music video sees Miley ditch her clothes as she lay surrounded by colourful sweets while she covered her modesty.
