Mythbusters host Grant Imahara has died suddenly aged 49.The electrical engineer and roboticist, best known for presenting the much-loved science show, suffered a brain aneurysm, according to The Hollywood Reporter.“We are heartbroken to hear this sad news about Grant.
He was an important part of our Discovery family and a really wonderful man. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family,” a representative for Discovery, the U.S.
network which broadcasts Mythbusters, said in a statement.Imahara joined Mythbusters in 2005, on season three of the show, and stayed with the program until 2014.
He later reunited with some of his former co-hosts for Netflix’s White Rabbit Project in 2016.Kari Byron, who worked with Imahara on both Mythbusters
