An investigation has been launched into the welfare of the child YouTuber Myka Stauffer ‘rehomed’. Last month, Stauffer sparked outrage when she announced that she and her husband had given up their four-year-old son Huxley, who they had adopted two and half years prior from China.
The couple explained that they were struggling to meet Huxley’s needs; the child has autism and suffered a stroke in utero. The Stauffers said in a video uploaded to Myka’s YouTube channel that Huxley was with a ‘new forever family’, but did not divulge details on how he found a new home, citing privacy issues.
