A mother and daughter have been left sleeping on concrete floors and at bus stops after becoming homeless. Jeanette Tagoe claims she had to leave her home after she was unable to pay her rent during the cost of living crisis.
The mum along with her daughter Kayla, 20, said that she has been left couch surfing, sleeping rough, and begging for food after being on the streets for eight months.
Jeanette who also suffers from depression and Raynaud's disease said her life has been "mental torture". The 55-year-old has been homeless since January 13 this year and does not know how long she can go on. There were rats there and everything. I have been living on the streets with my daughter and she is 20 years old, it has been so hard on her.
