The Monklands toy appeal is back for its 10th year, with donations already arriving at supermarket collection points in both Airdrie and Coatbridge.Supported by the Airdrie and Coatbridge Advertiser and local good causes, the festive project invites generous local residents to gift new toys, games, books, toiletries and vouchers for young people aged from birth to 16.They will then be distributed via volunteers to schools and local organisations helping young people to help make it a merry Christmas.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
