variety.comCarolyn Giardina The Motion Picture Association has hired Marissa Bostick as its new senior vice president and head of global litigation.
She is responsible for overseeing global anti-piracy legal matters on behalf of the MPA, its Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment and its member companies.
Before joining the MPA, Bostick was deputy director for the counterfeit crimes unit at Amazon. Earlier in her career she was an assistant U.S.
attorney in the criminal division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Southern District of New York. Bostick has served as a Fulbright Scholar on international criminal law, spending two years living in Eastern Europe.
