Motorists warned no diversions will be available during near two-month Lanarkshire road closure

Motorists are warned there won't be any diversions in place when a Coatbridge road shuts for nearly two months in the new year.The town's Lorne Place, from its extended kerbline to 30m from Sikeside Street, will be closed from January 10 until February 26, when signposted.This is to allow for drainage works associated with a new development and though there won’t be any alternative routes on offer, pedestrian access will be "maintained where practical".The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
