Man, 78, dies after horror crash on Lanarkshire road

A 78-year man has died after a crash involving pedestrians and a car in Strathaven last night.Witnesses described a large-scale emergency services response to the incident off Lesmahagow Road around 7pm, with the road closed off.The 78-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene with a 67-year-old man taken to hospital.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
