Police believe a 17-year-old boy was fatally stabbed after an 'altercation' in Moss Side. A murder investigation was launched after the teenager was knifed in a 'targeted' attack on Raby Street, near Millennium Park, at around 4.15pm yesterday (April 4).
The victim has been named by his loved ones as Prince Walker-Ayeni. Greater Manchester Police have now revealed new details about the incident on a public portal, where information can be submitted by members of the public.
On the portal, police said they believe an 'altercation' had taken place around the Quinney Crescent and Raby Street area just before the attack. The teenager was found 'collapsed' on the ground but sadly died. In full, the details of the incident on the portal read: "Emergency services attended Raby Street Manchester around 1615 hours on the 4th April.
