Two men accused of murder allegedly took a taxi from Manchester to Birmingham to visit a lawyer after the killing, a jury heard.
Raami Mohamed, 21, and Kevell Blake, 20, have pleaded not guilty to the murder of Badri Issa. Mr Issa, 22, died after being stabbed in Moss Side.
Prosecutors allege he was killed while he tried to act as a peacemaker when a fight broke out following a row over a car. They allege Mr Mohamed stabbed Mr Issa, and that Mr Blake ‘assisted and encouraged’ Mr Mohamed 'in his use of the knife'.
The pair both deny murder. READ MORE: Young man was murdered after trying to act as peacemaker in row over car, jury told Jurors have been told Mr Issa was being driven to an exercise class by his friend Omar Jeylaani prior to his death.
