Bullish Barry Ferguson reckons he was RIGHT about his controversial Callum McGregor comments after the Celtic captain played a key role in derailing Rangers title hopes.
In the build-up to the 2-1 defeat at Celtic Park, the Rangers legend took stick for telling the Light Blues they need to target McGregor from the start in the top of the table clash and stop the skipper dominating the midfield at all costs.
But Philippe Clement's 10-man side couldn't stop the star pulling the strings in the engine room and Celtic would take a massive step towards a third consecutive title.
When responding to Ferguson, McGregor admitted he would be happy if the Rangers' side only focussed on him - but the Light Blues' legend reckons he called it right after McGregor was allowed "far too much space" as the Parkhead men cruised six points clears.
