More than 140 patients were discharged from hospitals in Manchester over the past week after beating coronavirus. 141 people who tested positive for COVID-19 were able to leave the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust hospitals, which include the Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI), Wythenshawe Hospital and Trafford General, in the last seven days.

They are now recovering at home. In a post on Twitter, the trust thanked their staff for their 'hard work, dedication and care'.
