The judging of the third print competition took place at the latest meeting of Motherwell Photographic Society. The judge for the competition was Charlie Moore from Eastwood Photographic Society.
Charlie has visited the club many times both as a judge and a guest speaker.In total there were forty-seven prints entered into three sections: beginners, advanced portraits and advanced landscape and general.
Charlie took time to appraise each print offering advice on how he felt they could be improved at the photographing, editing or printing stages before giving each print a score out of twenty.In the beginners’ section Ashley Hanlon earned first place with “There’s a Moose Loose”.
