Spring is just over a month away and that means for many thoughts are turning to the garden and that first grass cut of the year.
March is the month that most gardeners will drag the lawnmower out of the shed to get the garden spruced up ahead of the better weather.
But BBC broadcaster and gardening expert Monty Don has shared some crucial advice on how to ensure your grass stays in great condition.
On his website, Monty said to be sure not to cut the grass too short on the first cut of the year. He explained that this will make sure the blades grow back healthy, reports the Mirror.
