More than 500 jobs are set to be lost after Monsoon Accessorize went into administration. A total of 35 store closures have been announced, with 545 jobs now at risk - but a deal has been agreed to save the majority of the chain's outlets.
The coronavirus pandemic scuppered the retailer's turnaround plan, with stores forced to shut in March. Earlier this month the business reportedly wrote to landlords saying that shops would have to close if rents were not waived.
According to The Telegraph, founder and current owner Peter Simon plans to buy the business back after putting it back in adminstration.
