Mohamed Salah was forced to apologise to Liverpool teammate Virgil van Dijk after he omitted him from his dream 5-a-side team in favour of Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo.
Salah was speaking ahead of Liverpool's Champions League final with Real Madrid in Paris on Saturday night. Jurgen Klopp's men were 90 minutes away from adding the Champions League trophy to the FA Cup and Carabao Cup they won earlier in the season, though Vinicius Jr's second-half strike proved to be the difference as Los Blancos notched their 14th European crown.
Four of Real's 14 titles were won with Ronaldo spearheading their attack, and Salah refused to ignore the Portuguese ace when Rio Ferdinand asked him to name his dream 5-a-side team.
