The body of a dad facing eviction was found in a culvert, one month after he was reported missing. Shaun James was found deceased in the water pipes in Staffordshire, on April 20 last year.The 35-year-old was last seen alive near the culvert in the early hours of March 19.
An inquest into Shaun's death heard he had hit on hard times and had been living in a tent, Stoke on Trent Live reports.Forensic pathologist Dr Alexander Kolar, who carried out a post mortem examination, was unable to ascertain the cause of death.
Giving evidence at Stoke Civic Centre, Dr Kolar said: "The deceased had been missing for essentially a month. He had recently started utilising certain drugs."He was last captured on CCTV on March 19 last year.
He was alone. He was very close to where his body was found.""The day after somebody used his bank card. That raised concern.
