dailystar.co.ukdog who survived 43 days alone in snowy blizzards has been reunited with his family.Animal Control Officers in Michigan, US, received a call regarding a dog stranded in Sand Lake after local residents reported hearing barking for several days.After going to investigate where the noise was coming from, they found the animal stranded in "an old bunker style silo".After being rescued, vets discovered the beloved pet was 20 miles from home and weighed nearly 15kg less than before he went missing.In a post shared on Sunday, Kent County Animal Shelter wrote: "Our weekend Animal Control Officers received a call this morning regarding a dog possibly stranded near an old grain elevator in Sand Lake, MI."The dog had been heard barking for a few days.
