A search and rescue mission is currently active in Symi, part of the Dodecanese Islands, as authorities look for Michael, 67, who is well-known for his segments on The One Show and This Morning, as well as his engaging health documentaries.
He has also produced numerous films focusing on diet and exercise. In what is now his last known social media post before disappearing, Michael talked about his Radio 4 programme Just One Thing.
However, the comments section quickly became a space for fans to express their fears, with one fan posting: "Just one thing: please be alive and well." Another shared: "Hope you are found safe and well," and a third added: "Praying you are found safe and well."
