Michael J Fox gushes over Coldplay and 'mind blowing' surprise Glastonbury appearance

Michael J Fox described his performance with Coldplay at Glastonbury on the Pyramid stage as "mind-blowing".The 63 year old Back To The Future icon joined the British rock group to strum along to their hit, Fix You, during their historic headline set at Worthy Farm on Saturday evening.

Coldplay made history themselves by becoming the first act to helm the festival for a fifth time.Fox then took to social media to share snaps of him on stage in a wheelchair surrounded by his team and posing in front of a hoarding which stated: "Optimism is a political act".

In one of his posts he captioned: "My team : Lauren, John and Jeff and Steve."He also gave shout outs to everyone involved adding: "Glastonbury all the love and thanks to the @coldplay team who took such great care of us."In the post, he said: "And many thanks to (Coldplay members) Chris (Martin), Will (Champion), Johnny (Buckland), Guy (Berryman) and Phil (Harvey)."He then added: "Oh yeah in case you were wondering ...
