'Metrolink kept trying to fine me, but I don't even use the tram'

A woman from Greater Manchester has complained after Metrolink told her to appeal a fine that was addressed to someone else.

Rebecca Westaway, 58, from Heald Green believes that someone who was caught on a tram without a ticket has given inspectors her address.

After sending the letter back unopened in December, she received a 'final reminder' letter about the penalty fare last week.

The diversity and inclusion coordinator who 'loves writing letters' complained to Metrolink but was told she must appeal the notice.
