Sugababes have been announced as the second headliners for Brighton and Hove Pride 2025.The trio – comprised of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhán Donaghy – will be taking to the stage on Sunday August 3 for this year’s edition of the festival.It comes just after confirmation that Mariah Carey would be appearing this year too.
The pop star was revealed as the first headliner for the Brighton event earlier this year, and the set comes five years after she was set to perform there in 2020.
That year’s instalment was ultimately scrapped due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.Following the announcement today (February 17), a spokesperson for The Sugababes said that the three members were “over the moon” to join the 2025 line-up (via BBC News).This year’s edition of Brighton Pride will be held in the usual spot of Preston Park on August 2 and 3.For their set, the British girl group are expected to bring out hits from their back catalogue including ‘About You Now’ and ‘Push The Button’.
