UK pop-rock group The 1975 and U.S. singer-songwriter and actress Olivia Rodrigo will headline Glastonbury this summer alongside previously announced Heart of Gold legend Neil Young, organisers announced on Thursday.
Charli xcx, who was feted at the Brit Awards over the weekend including for best artist and album, will top the bill on the festival’s second stage, or Other Stage.
Other line-up highlights include U.S. rapper Doechii, who will make her Glastonbury debut as the headline act on the West Holts Stage on Saturday night.
Irish hip-hop trio Kneecap, who have been enjoying a buzzy film awards season as stars of Rich Peppiatt’s namesake movie exploring their rise to fame, are also among the announced acts. ‘Chocolate’ and ‘Somebody Else’ hitmakers The 1975, who have played Glastonbury in other sections several times before, will make their debut on the festival’s main Pyramid stage as the headline act on the Friday.
