Manchester City have it all to do in the Champions League after throwing away a lead to lose 3-2 to Real Madrid on Tuesday night at the Etihad.
The Blues went ahead at the Etihad when Erling Haaland finished smartly after a well-worked City move. The goal survived a lengthy VAR check before being awarded.
Madrid, who knocked City out of the competition at the quarter-final stage last season on their way to winning the competition, hit back after the break when Kylian Mbappe somewhat fortuitously guided in an equaliser.
But City went back in front 10 minutes from time when Haaland converted from the penalty spot after Phil Foden was felled inside the box.
