More heavy rain is set to batter parts of England and Wales on the back of two major storms this weekend. Eowyn and Herminia brought strong winds and downpours to the UK on Friday and Sunday.

But some parts of the country are set for more disruptive weather. The Met Office has updated its weather warnings for today (January 27) and Tuesday.

Three yellow warnings are in force, affecting southern England and most of Wales. A warning for wind is in force until 6am on Tuesday, with gusts of up to 70mph expected on the coast and 50mph inland.

Two warnings for rain are also in force. The first covers south and mid Wales until 9pm on Tuesday, with up to 60mm of rain expected in some areas.
