Some snow is expected to fall in parts of the UK this weekend, according to Met Office weather maps. The country-wide weather forecast for Friday to Sunday reads: "Remaining rather cloudy with patchy rain and hill snow at times.

An increasing risk of some heavier rain in the far west on Friday. A cold easterly breeze continuing." It comes as most parts of the UK has experienced a cloudy and drizzly week, with temperatures sitting around the average for this time of year.

In Greater Manchester, it has remained between around 2C to 6C, but feeling more like -1C to 1C. Over the weekend, it looks like there will be some snowfall from Saturday, 15 February.

At 6am on Saturday morning, it looks like there is some snow around Yorkshire and the Humber, with some hail scattered around too.
