After a mild start to December, Brits have been warned to expect chilly conditions to come. The Met Office has warned that cold weather will return this week - including a chance of snow for some in the UK.
Many parts of the country saw temperatures well into double figures over the weekend. But temperatures plummeted on Monday (December 2) and the cooler outlook is expected to continue.
According to the latest Met Office weather maps, areas of higher ground in northern Scotland could see snow later on Tuesday.
