Mesut Ozil has dropped possibly his clearest hint yet that he wants to force through a move to Fenerbahce in January. The Arsenal outcast continues to be linked with a transfer to the Turkish giants having not featured for the Gunners all season.
His days at the Emirates are numbered with his contract in north London set to expire at the end of the season. But his departure could come sooner than the summer, and Fenerbahce appear to be leading the race for his signature.
MLS side DC United have also been linked, but Ozil has suggested a switch to Turkey could be on the cards. When asked which Istanbul district is his favourite in a Twitter Q&A, Ozil replied "Kadıköy", which is where Fenerbahce play.
