Mesut Özil has finally completed his move from Arsenal to Fenerbahce. The German star has joined the Turkish giants on a three-and-a-half year contract after agreeing a deal to terminate his Arsenal contract early.
He has already arrived in Istanbul and is ready to begin the next chapter of his career in the coming days. But the No.10 - synonymous with Ozil - will not be worn by the playmaker for the time being.
Striker Mbwanna Samatta, on loan from Aston Villa, currently occupies the Fenerbahce No.10 shirt until the end of the season.
That means Ozil has to wear another number until the end of the campaign - and it is widely reported he will break with tradition by wearing the No.67.
