Festival lineup. Now in its 46 th year, the festival returns to the Lena Horne Bandshell in Prospect Park beginning on June 8 and wrapping on August 24.
It is the longest-running free performing arts festival in New York City. This season,the festival will also bring a pop-up festival experience to Brower Park, as well as Highland Park in Brooklyn for a second year.
This year’s lineup also includes performances by rising Afrobeat star Seun Kuti, reggae revivalist Jesse Royal, Belgian dance sensations Charlotte Adigery & Bolis Pupul, retro soul ensemble Thee Sacred Souls, Sinkane, and a host of emerging acts like Ambar Lucid, Adi Oasis, Black Belt Eagle Scout, and Talibah Safiya.
