mirror.co.ukMeghan Markle broke royal protocol to give her own wedding speech, a new royal biography has revealed. At the time of the couple’s wedding it was speculated that the new bride would give her own speech but now Finding Freedom has confirmed she did indeed give her own toast.
Meghan and Prince Harry tied the knot at St George’s Chapel, Windsor, in May 2018. Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand's biography Finding Freedom says the Duchess recounted various experiences of her past life in the speech.
The book is also set to “reveal unknown details” about Harry and Meghan and will also be "dispelling the many rumours and misconceptions that plague the couple" in Britain and North America.
