Meghan Markle felt "shunted off' when asked to live in Nottingham Cottage and not Kensington Palace, it has been claimed.Author Tom Quinn believes she would have initially been "drawn in" by the fantasy of the Royal Family.But once she and Prince Harry had settled into married life became unimpressed living "in a little cottage".The two-bedroom cottage was the couple's first marital home within the grounds of Kensington Palace.And it served as a base for the pair until their move to Frogmore Cottage and later to California.Mr Quinn told Daily Mirror podcast Pod Save the Queen said the couple would have been unhappy with their first home.He said: "I think that actually, she wasn’t too keen on that."It seemed like they were being shunted off.
