McDonald's scraps four popular items from menus at Scots restaurants

McDonald’s is axing four popular items from its menu today ahead of its festive food release. The fast food chain is set to disappoint fans as it scraps favourites including the Quarter Pounder Deluxe, the McChicken BLT and the Nacho Cheese Wedges.

It is also getting rid of the Spicy Quarter Pounder burger, which left customers divided when it landed in October. While some McDonald's fans enjoyed the new burger, others insisted that mixing beef patties with pepper jack cheese, onions, jalapeños, mustard and hot ketchup is “too spicy”.
