Fast food enthusiasts can get their chops around a range of cut price McDonald's meals from Wednesday July 15. Last week chancellor Rishi Sunak announced that VAT would be reduced from 20% to 5% to get Brits spending again.
The eased tax burden has led McDonald's to slash the price of a number of classics. The newly priced items will be available from 5am on Wednesday.
Diners can look forward to a 40p reduction on Extra Value Meals and 30p off Happy Meals. Big hitters including McNuggets, the Big Mac and Quarter Pounders with cheese will be 20p cheaper.
Alternative burgers such as the Filet O'Fish, the McChicken sandwich and Veggie Deluxe will be 20p cheaper as well. McMuffins are to cost 30p less while breakfast meals are a full 50p less
