Today is the day that McDonald's fans have been waiting for, as the fast food chain finally reopens most of its drive-thrus.
The popular restaurant chain has been gradually reopening its stores for take-away and delivery over the last few weeks. The phased reopening started down south, and gradually spread across the UK and Ireland once proper safety procedures were established.
It's gone down a storm with diners, with one branch in Bury having to close on its first day of opening after queues of cars blocked main roads.
Maccies fans have been frustrated when the reopenings haven't included their local branches - for example, Tameside had none open before today.
