McDonald's announce wraps and other favourites are back on the menu for £1

Fast food giant McDonald's is bringing back two of its menu classics this week - including lunchtime wraps and the new 'wrap of the day' deal as workers return to the office following months of lockdown.

The chain said its Crispy Sweet Chilli Chicken and Crispy BBQ & Bacon Wraps will return from July 29, with the £1.99 meal deal option also back from Wednesday.

The announcement comes ahead of the Government's new Eat Out To Help Out campaign, which will offer customers 50% of their food and drink bill, up to £10 per person, from August 3.

A McDonald's spokesman said it will be participating in the scheme - offering a reduction for all diners who eat in, including the 'wrap of the day' for £1.
