Maya Jama has responded to the speculation that BBC bosses are eyeing her up for the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Execs are reportedly prepared to splash out on a six-figure fee to secure the Radio One presenter for this year's celebrity line-up.

Strictly bosses think Maya, the ex girlfriend of rapper Stromzy, would inject some glamour to the show when it returns to BBC One later this year.

The Sunday Mirror revealed that money isn't an issue as they attempt to lure the popular television presenter to the dance floor.
