Mason Mount has already told Ruben Amorim how he can fit into Manchester United's new system. The 25-year-old midfielder, who swapped Stamford Bridge for Old Trafford last year in a deal worth £60m, failed to impress under Erik ten Hag, so he'll be hoping to turn over a new leaf.
Mount featured just 25 times for United during the Dutchman's reign, scoring just one goal and providing only one assist. The England international featured in a number of positions, whether it be on the left wing, attacking midfield or in a double pivot, but he struggled to build any momentum.
In a new setup – similar to the one where he enjoyed his best performances for Chelsea – Mount has already been earmarked as a key member of the squad.
After leading his first training session at Carrington, Amorim said: "Mason Mount… I have to tell you I love that kid.
