Mason Mount's injury problems look set to continue after the Manchester United star limped off in the early stages of his side's game against Manchester City.
Mount has endured a torrid time since his move to United in the summer of 2023. The former Chelsea man has made just 21 Premier League appearances in nearly 18 months at the club.
Mount missed the majority of the 2023/24 campaign with injury and kicked off the current campaign with further injury issues after he was replaced midway through United's defeat to Brighton back in August. The England international looked distraught as he sat waiting for the United medical team. Teammates Bruno Fernandes, Lisandro Martinez, Rasmus Hojlund, Manuel Ugarte, Noussair Mazraoui and Amad all consoled him as he headed off.
