New Manchester United recruit Mason Mount says he understands the responsibility that comes with wearing the No.7 shirt following his move to Old Trafford.
United unveiled Mount as their first signing of the summer transfer window on Wednesday, confirming that he had put pen to paper on an initial five-year deal.
The England international had spent Monday and Tuesday at the club's Carrington training base putting the finishing touches to the move after the Reds reached a £60million agreement with Chelsea last week.
Manager Erik ten Hag had identified Mount as his primary midfield target several weeks ago, meaning he will be delighted to have landed his No.1 target for that area of the team.
