Martyn Waghorn has revealed Pedro Caixinha's 'pattern' plan left the whole squad feeling confused. And the Derby County frontman insists he didn't want to leave Rangers but felt he had no other choice after Caixinha told him Alfredo Morelos, Eduardo Herrera and even Dalcio were ahead of him in the pecking order.
He was sold to Ipswich shortly after Rangers were knocked out of the Europa League by Progres Niederkorn but it was the months before that when Caixinha left the entire team feeling baffled.
The Portuguese had replaced Mark Warburton in March and Waghorn couldn't figure out the randomness of Caixinha's training pattern.The former Santos Laguna boss had a system that decided when days off were but none of the players could understand.
