Kemar Roofe has signed for Rangers from Belgian side Anderlecht. The former Leeds United man joins the Ibrox club on a four-year deal.
He scored seven times in 16 appearances for the Brussels club before the Belgian Pro League was ended early due to coronavirus.Belgian media had suggested on Tuesday morning that Roofe was on his way to Glasgow, and he has now completed his move.A Rangers statement said: "Rangers are delighted to confirm Kemar Roofe has joined the club on a four year deal for an undisclosed fee." His arrival comes at a time Steven Gerrard is in need of fresh blood up front after a pre-season injury to Jermain Defoe and the speculation over Alfredo Morelos' future.
