Yesterday, news broke that in a new Law & Order-adjacent spinoff. And his former costar, Mariska Hargitay, seems as happy about it as the rest of us.

posted a sweet birthday and congratulations message to her former partner-in-solving-crime to Instagram on April 2. "Happy Birthday @chris_meloni Congratulations and welcome home Elliot Stabler #It’sBeenAWhile #MissedYou #ElliotStabler," she wrote.

And Meloni responded, "Saddle up gurl, we ridin agin [sic]. And TY for all the BD wishes." starred as the tough New York cop Elliot Stabler for 12 seasons before in 2011, while Mariska Hargitay has remained on the show, currently in its 21st season, as Olivia Benson.
