Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Marian Shved back to Glasgow next month and insist he can still come good in his loan spell in Belgium. The Ukraine international moved to the club on a season-long loan this summer after a disastrous first season at Parkhead following his £2 million move to Celtic almost two years ago.

Having struggled for game time under Neil Lennon, he hasn't fared much better since the move and was slaughtered by his own manager, Wouter Vrancken, who advised him to take up billiards instead of football because he wasn't interested.

However, that angry outburst from the manager has jolted Shved into a response.And Mechelen sporting director, Tom Kaluve, said: "We had a conversation with the player and the manager together.
