Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Marcus Rashford might be underperforming for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United because he is not happy with his position in their starting XI.
The England forward has managed only two goals across his last 12 Premier League outings with the Red Devils - which followed a run of five goals over six appearances.
Since breaking into the first-team back in 2015/16 under the guidance of Louis van Gaal, there has been some debate over his best position, with the majority coming at left wing this time out.Former Chelsea and Scotland winger Pat Nevin has given his thoughts on the ‘fed up’ attitude of the 23-year-old, and questioned whether he wants to play as a striker.
