Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.

A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.

He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gives Marcus Rashford injury update with Man Utd star set for scan

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided an update on Marcus Rashford after the forward limped off during Manchester United's 2-0 win at Manchester City.

Rashford made a lung-busting run to prevent a City counter-attack in the second half and appeared to hurt his left ankle in the process.

The Englishman tried to continue but was unable to move freely, prompting Solskjaer to substitute him for Mason Greenwood in the 73rd minute.

Rashford has impressed in a variety of attacking roles this season and has 18 goals and 10 assists to his name. His potential injury comes as a blow to Solskjaer, who confirmed the 23-year-old will be sent for a scan.
