Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Marcus Rashford has appeared on the cover of a special edition of the Beano today as the guest editor of the beloved children's comic.
Starring alongside Beanotown favourites Dennis and Minnie, and donning the editor's t-shirt, the Manchester United forward urged children to "find their voices" and "celebrate all things that make each of us unique".
The campaigner, who has spoken out over child food poverty and lobbied the Government over school meal vouchers, also makes several appearances throughout the edition.
He appears alongside popular characters including the Bash Street Kids, Billy Whizz and Bananaman. In the editor's letter, Rashford says: "Reading is one of my favourite things to do because it lets me dream.
